Little Buoy II , Original Artwork

This painting continues Charlotte's exploration of ideas of transparency and solidity. Inspired by colour theory and stylised forms from nature, Charlotte embraces a distinctive, hard-edged abstract style, overlapping shapes and juxtaposing vibrant colours to achieve a sense of luminosity and equilibrium. Rainbow arcs are a recurring symbol in Charlotte's artwork, chosen for their association with hope, peace and joy as well as their visual versatility in creating abstract compositions.

 

Little Buoy II is hand-signed on the front and back and is ready to hang with wire attached. Please note, this painting is UNFRAMED - careful attention has been paid to the sides of the canvas (see picture in gallery images) so it doesn't require framing but for an extra special finish, Charlotte recommends professional framing in a timber floating frame (such as the examples in the gallery images) and can be arranged through Gioia Wall Art.
